Oh what an exciting summer this is turning out to be! Chrysalis will be moving to a new location on Radford's East Main Street during the month of July! The shop will still be open for business during July so please feel free to drop by and check out the Mayhem faeries as they are sure to show up during the process :D ! I expect the new shop to be ready for business by August 1st. So many changes and they are all exciting!
The new shop will carry many new products and lines...including the new Chrysalis line of clothing! Be sure to check out the new threads made of re-purposed material (and some new) in various styles from Bo-ho to hippie and casual to dressy! I am very excited to be introducing my own line of clothing to the shop. It is such a personal journey to learn to do something like sew and turn it into a passion where I am able to work with my friends and create really cool skirts, kids clothing, and more while recycling and reducing the amount of waste made from the large corporate clothing lines! Yay! Keeping it local is very important to me as you all have learned this past year.
I will be carrying a larger selection of Himalayan Salt products including an amazing skin care system utilizing the beneficial properties found in the Himalayan Salt. New Candles from local sources and a few from outside the region. Basically, I am still blending as much locally crafted/made/produced inventory as possible and striving to purchase from suppliers who support Fair Trade. Occassionally things don't go as planned, but it is my promise to you that I will always strive to find that balance of local / fair trade/ eco friendly / reasonable prices whenever possible.
For my ever loyal metaphysical family, I look forward to continuing to serve you at the new location as well. I have been exploring ways to bring in new inventory and keep the diverse selection of items you have come to expect while maintaining a much smaller space. I hope you will continue to bless us with your references and always wonderful visits :D
I am still available for weddings/handfastings/blessings and other clergy services for those who need them.
Many Blessings and thanks to everyone who has made this first year such an exciting time for me. It has been such a journey and I am looking forward to the next three years and smile as I ponder what the Fates have in store :D
